What to know before we arrive
Refrigerant units are handled separately
Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners contain refrigerant that is regulated and can't go into a general waste stream. These units are routed to facilities equipped to recover it properly. It's part of what we do, not an upcharge you'll discover on-site.
Disconnection is not the same as removal
We haul appliances away — we're not licensed plumbers or electricians. Gas lines, hardwired connections, and water supply lines should be safely disconnected and capped before we arrive. If yours aren't, call us first and we'll talk through it rather than have the crew show up unable to work.
Empty the fridge first, please
A refrigerator with food still in it is heavier, messier, and can leak in the truck. Emptying it before we arrive keeps your driveway clean and speeds up the pickup.
Tile and hardwood need protection
A loaded washer dragged across tile will crack it. Our crew uses appliance dollies and protects the floor along the route out, especially through kitchens and laundry rooms.
What does appliance removal usually cost?
One or two appliances is typically a Minimum Pickup. A full kitchen or laundry set usually reaches a Quarter Load. Pricing starts at $99 for a minimum pickup and scales with volume. You always get a firm price before anything is loaded.

We route appliances to recycling and proper disposal facilities rather than sending metal to the landfill where a recycling option exists. Units containing refrigerant go to facilities that can recover it correctly.
